Lime is said to be the oil that infuses the soul with a zest for life. It enlivens a person’s appetite for life and playfulness. It helps a person get out from stagnant and stuck energies – including grief, despair, apathy and more – and regain their courage to embrace life and the goodness that it offers. Lime is especially useful for those who feel disheartened or grief. Lime lifts those people up above the pain and instills courage and cheer into their hearts and reminds them that there is a lot to be grateful for in life such as the gift of life itself!
Lime is a great heart chakra oil which is the color of green. Lime helps clear trapped emotions in the heart. When the heart harbors negative emotions it becomes toxic emotionally and the person avoids and feels repressed. Lime rejuvenates the heart space and gives it room for light and joy. It clears away feelings of discouragement, depression and suicidal thoughts. Lime shines a light on the innermost thoughts that are hidden by the heart and encourages emotional honesty. Lime clears any blockages in the heart area and helps one feel safe and at home in their heart. It removes feelings of apathy and resignation and imbues instead hope, joy, trust, courage and determination to face life’s challenges. This is an oil to pull out when there’s a car accident to help release cellular memory of shock.
Lime also assists the individual who has neglected themselves emotionally as they built themselves up intellectually. That person tends to often feel irritated, worried and stressed which creates unhappiness. There is no balance in the heart and mind and Lime comes in to restore that balance. In these ways, it may be useful for someone dealing with low vibration emotions of fatigue, overwhelm or a heavy heart and stimulates a person’s personal drive in a fun, healthy and heart-focused way.
